Considering traditions of northern Europe which have generated the type of the walking boats having small deck house opened from a stern (hard top), we have created new boat Sea Wind 520 ht with protection against a bad weather. The main thing that it was possible to reach to designers is maximum convenience and safety in management. The big windshield increases the review. The volume of bulk holds of unsinkability almost twice exceeds is minimum necessary size that warrants boat preservation afloat at extreme situations. The boat fore is easily transformed to a berth for two the person (a plus a children's place on the right side). The deck house opened from a stern inside very spacious and cosy. In comparison with boats of such class, to pass in steering well on side (instead of through the hatch) is very convenient, thus the boat practically is not banked. In a base complete set of 6 kit lockers, total amount of 1100 litres. Over a steering well the running awning that allows to maintain a boat in the most unfavorable meteoconditions if necessary stretches. The boat was received not only functional, but also meeting on design to modern requirements. The internal interior has the smooth, flowing round lines, allowing to optimise available space. One more feature of a boat is faster exit on gliding in comparison with open model.

«Sea Wind 520» offers excellent performance and demonstrates speed and smooth movement. The boat is simple, fine-looking and convenient in maintenance. It is designed to give joy and pleasure of water recreation. Fast and maneuverable, this boat will easily tow a water-skier or a ski tube.

Thanks to its dimensions, «Gladius Sea Wind 520» offers reliable controls in any weather conditions. High cockpit provides confidence during storm and ensures safety of passengers and their kids, and 850 l holding capacity of all kinds of lockers will protect luggage from getting wet during rain. With its length of 520 cm, this boat, gracefully cutting high waves, guarantees smooth navigation in difficult weather conditions. Fixed fuel tank holding 90 l of fuel ensures long trip without refueling. Spacious cockpit will be welcome by fishermen, since it allows moving in the boat during drawing of large fish. Fishers may additionally order an optional stainless steel pipe targa for installation and carrying of all kinds of spinning reels.

We decided against self-draining cockpit, because valves are always getting clogged up with debris and do not ensure leak tightness, leading to cockpit waterlogging, especially during reverse movement. Rainwater that the boat has caught is drained through drain holes into double-bottom space, from where it is pumped out with electric pump. Upon Customer's request, an extra hand pump may be installed.

Volume of flooding resistance compartments is twice the minimum required volume, which ensures boat floatability in emergency.


The boat comprises the following main components:
• Hull is made of shipbuilding aluminium AMG 5. Bottom, transom and kit made of 4 mm thick aluminium, boards of 3 mm aluminium. Hull design has been successfully tested and received a certificate of conformity.
• Glued-in cockpit made of Norpol polyester resins-based reinforced plastic, which adds elegant look and considerably dampens noise during movement.
• Cabin is furnished with comfortable seats and pillows made of quality vinyl leather that is resistant to severe operating conditions (ultraviolet light, water and frost resistant). This design is more adapted for difficult conditions of Russian latitudes and variable weather.
• Component parts from Maritum catalogue are used in the manufacture of the boat.
